Phong Nha adventure Conquer 4.5KM Day Trip
07:35 - 08:00 AM: Pick-up by our tour guides at your hotel in Dong Hoi; in Phong Nha Village around 08:45 - 09:00 AM. The tour begins at the Phong Nha-Ke Bang Tourism Centre’s boat station. A hearty breakfast is recommended before the trip.
Participants will take a 10-minute van ride to a small dock, then board a boat to Phong Nha Cave, the largest wet cave in the world. The tour explores 4.5 kilometers deep into the cave, following an 8-kilometer subterranean river.
At the cave's boat station, guests receive high-quality gear and a safety briefing. Depending on group size, entry is by kayak or boat, passing through the entrance and twilight zones. The entrance zone hosts diverse wildlife, while the twilight zone features stunning stalagmites and stalactites illuminated by artificial lights.
In the dark zone, participants leave the kayaks/boat to climb over boulders and navigate narrow passages, guided by an informative tour guide. After approximately 500 meters, you’ll reach a small lake where you can swim about 200 meters to a sandy beach.
After exploring for 2 to 4 hours, the group will return to Bi Ki Chamber for lunch and to see a thousand-year-old inscription by the Cham people. The twilight zone will be explored on foot, offering a unique caving experience.
The tour concludes back at the ticket office around 17:00 - 17:20 in Dong Hoi.
