8:00 AM your tour will typically start in the morning from Hanoi. You'll be picked up from your hotel/ accommodation by a tour guide and driven to Ninh Binh province, where Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are located. The journey usually takes around 2 - 3 hours.
9:00 - 9:30 have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax on half way.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital: Upon arrival, you'll visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Explore the historical relics and learn about the rich history of Vietnam during the Dinh and early Le dynasties. You can visit the temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le kings, as well as the royal palace ruins.
12:00 Lunch time: After exploring Hoa Lu, you'll have a break for lunch. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal at a local restaurant, where you can savor regional specialties.
13:30 Sampan Boat Ride: In the afternoon, head to Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land." You'll board a traditional sampan boat and embark on a scenic boat trip along the Ngo Dong River. Marvel at the breathtaking karst formations and lush greenery as you pass through caves and rice paddies.
Three Caves Exploration: During the boat ride, you'll pass through three natural caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. The boat rower will use their oars or feet to propel the boat, allowing you to fully appreciate the serene beauty of the surroundings.
Cycling Option about 45 minute: Optional cycling activity after the boat ride. You can explore the countryside and nearby villages on a bicycle, giving you a closer look at the rural life and picturesque landscapes.
16:00 Time return to Hanoi: After the boat ride and optional cycling activity, you'll return to the starting point. From there, you'll be driven back to Hanoi,
18:30 Arrivel in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic. Tour ends.

- After boat trip on the river, the boat rower always expect the guest's tip about 1$ or 2$.

On Friday, Saturday, or Sunday - due to the Night Market and walking street on the weekend in Hanoi Old Quarter Area because most of the street in the Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, we will drop you off at nearest street the bus can drive to.
- During the period March to November it will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
