Athena Cruise Itineraries and Activities

DAY 1:  Ha Noi – Ha Long bay – Overnight on cruise( Lunch ,Dinner)

11:45     Ready at Athena Check-in Lounge

12:00    Boarding time, check in your cabin. Followed by activities such as:  boarding Athena Cruise for departure, Welcome drink will be served and cruise briefing, safety instructions, check-in cabins by Cruise Manager

13:30    Great lunch is served while cruising passing by islets.

15:30    Kayaking around Luon cave, visit Titop Island. Free choice of activities such as sunbathing, swimming and conquering the peak of the biggest island in Halong and taking panoramic photos of Halong bay in the afternoon.

18:00    Happy Hour. Buy 2 beverage get 1 for free

19.00    Cooking Class. Our Chef will demonstrate the preparation of a particular Vietnamese cuisine in the dining room. Our guide will let you know what item will be prepared and will explain the process during the demonstration. Duration about 20 – 30 minutes

19:30   Under the magnificent night sky, our luxury set menu dinner is served with variety of Vietnamese and Asian foods

21:00  Joining the squid fishing on boat with our crews and can enjoy the squid cooked with assistance from our chef or laze yourself with our happy-hour drinks at the bar

DAY 2:       Ha Long bay – Ha Noi  ( Breakfast, dinner)

06:15   Tai Chi class on the Sun-Deck

07:15     Have light breakfast with Coffee, tea, and bakeries on board

07:45    Arrive at the Surprising cave, the biggest cave in Ha Long Bay with 10,000 square meters, when you visit the cave like our Vietnamese house with three chambers as lobby, dining room and bedroom with most beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. We will tour the cave for about 60 minutes.

09:00      Upon return to the boat you will have time to freshen up and finish packing. When checking out please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins.

    09.45                       Brunch is served.

After brunch, Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

    10:45                       Disembark at Halong International harbour

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: HA NOI  - BAI TU LONG BAY – KAYAKING - VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE (-/LUNCH/DINNER)

• 08:00 - 08:30 Am: Our shuttle bus will pick you up at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter are, depart to Bai Tu Long Bay.
• 11.45: Arrive in Hon Gai pier and boarding operations
• 12.45:  The Cruise Manager will give a welcome speech with all the cruise information and Safety instructions.
• 13:15: Enjoy the lunch with the best products of the Bay.
• 14.45: Visit the Vung Vieng floating fishing village by kayaking.
• 15.30-16.30: If you want to relax on the boat instead of participating in other activities feel free to use our sauna at no extra cost.
• 17:00-18.30: Happy Hour: buy 01 get 01 free
• 17:30: The Cooking Demonstration is waiting for you to discover the secrets of Vietnamese Cuisine.
• 19:00: Enjoy set menu dinner on board
• 21:00: Join the Squid Fishing activity. Free time on the boat. The bar is open late to serve you. Overnight at Cong Do Area.

DAY 2: CONG DAM AREA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• 06:30:  Practice one of the oldest traditions of East Asia: Tai Chi – A beautiful and relaxing experience on the open deck.
• 07:00-08:15: Breakfast is served in the restaurant.
• 08:30:  Transfer on the day boat to start an incredible trip to Ha Long Bay. Surrounded by a breathless landscape, you will discover some of the most beautiful corners of the bay. Enjoy Kayaking in the area.
• 12:00: Have lunch on the boat.
• 15:30-16.30: Back to the Athena Cruise and you will have some free time. Relax in your cabin or on the Sundeck. Free sauna session.
• 17:00- 18.30: Happy hour: Buy 01 get 01 drink free
• 17:30: Cooking class with some new technique to learn.
• 19:00: The Gala dinner is ready for you.
• 20:30: Enjoy the Squid Fishing activity.  Free time on board. The bar is open late to serve you

DAY 3: BAI TU LONG BAY - THIEN CANH SON CAVE -  HA NOI (BREAKFAST/BRUNCH/-)

• 06:30: Practice one of the oldest traditions of East Asia: Tai Chi – A beautiful and relaxing experience on the open deck.
• 07:00: The Early Bird Coffee is ready to wake up you
• 07:30: Explore Thien Canh Son cave in Bai Tu Long Bay. Witness its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Note: there are about 200 steps to get up to the cave.
• 09:00: Check out time. Please put your luggage outside the cabin and the key at the reception desk.
• Our staff will transfer your luggage to our lounge for you. Bill settlement at the reception desk.
• 09:30: Brunch is served at the restaurant on the 2nd deck.
• 10:45:  The boat arrives at the pier.
• 11:00Am: Transfer to Hanoi by shuttle bus.
• Arival in Hanoi at 16:00, drop you off at hotel in Old Quarter Area, tour ends.
