Night 1: Hanoi to Lao Cai overnight by bus or train
Option 1: Overnight bus from Hanoi to Lao Cai
21.00 - 21.30 Our shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotels/hostels in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer you to bus station to take about 5,5 hours by the sleeping bus to Sapa. You will arrive Sapa Bus station at 3.30 - 4.00, you can sleep on bus until 6.00 (no air-condition on bus when stopping).
6.00 Our driver will pick up at the Sapa bus station, Have breakfast before we departure to Can Cau Market.
Option 2: Overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai.
20.30 Our staff from Vietnam Creative Travel will pick up at your hotels/hostels in Hanoi Old Quarter, transfer to Hanoi Train station, take the night train to Lao Cai, this train departs at 10:00 Pm – arrive in the next morning at 06:00 Am - Train cabin 4 berth with A.C - sharing cabin.
06:00 Our driver will pick you up at train station. Have breakfast at a local restaurant then depart to Bac Ha Market.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Can Cau Market – Bac Ha:
Arrival in Lao Cai: Arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning and meet your guide. Transfer by bus to Can Cau Market.
Can Cau Market: Explore the vibrant Can Cau Market, held every Saturday. Nestled in a picturesque valley, this market is famous for its colorful displays and bustling atmosphere. Interact with the local H'mong and Red Dao people, and browse a variety of traditional products, including textiles, handicrafts, and livestock.
Lunch: Enjoy a local lunch near the market, savoring traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
Transfer to Bac Ha: After the market visit, transfer to Bac Ha town. Check in to your hotel and relax.
Free Time: Spend the afternoon exploring Bac Ha town at your leisure or relaxing at your hotel.
Dinner and Overnight: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 2: Bac Ha Market – Lao Cai – Hanoi:
Breakfast: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
Bac Ha Market: Visit the Bac Ha Market, one of the largest and most colorful markets in the region, held every Sunday. The market is a vibrant hub of activity, where various ethnic groups, including the Flower H'mong, gather to trade goods and socialize. Marvel at the colorful traditional attire, taste local foods, and shop for unique souvenirs.
Visit Ban Pho Village: After the market, visit Ban Pho Village, home to the Flower H'mong people. Learn about their daily life and culture, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant, sampling regional dishes.
Transfer to Lao Cai: In the afternoon, transfer back to Lao Cai. If time permits, visit the Lao Cai border gate for a glimpse of China across the river.
Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Lao Cai.
Overnight Train to Hanoi: Board the overnight train back to Hanoi, sleeping comfortably in a sleeper berth.
Night 3: Arrival in Hanoi:
Early Morning Arrival: Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning. Transfer back to your hotel or home, concluding your unforgettable journey.

What do I need to know?
- From April to October, the climate is usually cool and fresh in the morning and evening, but hot in the middle day with sunshine. Rain season, sometimes foggy if it rains.
