In the morning, travel to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network used by Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War. Before entering the tunnels, watch a documentary explaining how the tunnels were constructed.
Explore sections of the tunnels and see various wartime artifacts including mantraps, bomb craters created by B52 bombers, and remnants of military equipment.
After lunch, return to the city for a sightseeing tour including the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Central Post Office.
