FAQs

BOOKING & PAYMENTS

1. How do I book a tour?

You can book directly on our website by selecting your tour and clicking “Book Now.” Alternatively, contact us via WhatsApp or Email for a custom itinerary. We will confirm your booking within 24 hours.

2. Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. To secure your reservation, we require a deposit (usually 20$). The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Vietnam or before the tour start date, depending on the specific package.

3. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and direct bank transfers. Cash (USD or VND) is also accepted for the final balance payment at our office or upon pickup.

4. What is your cancellation policy?

Generally, cancellations made 7 days prior to the trip receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 3-6 days may incur a 50% charge. However, policies vary by tour (especially for Cruises), so please check the specific terms on your booking confirmation.

LOGISTICS & PREPARATION

5. Do I need a Visa for Vietnam?

Most travelers need a visa. We strongly recommend applying for the E-Visa (Electronic Visa) via the official Vietnamese government website at least 1-2 weeks before your trip. It is valid for up to 90 days.

6. Where do you pick up guests?

For daily tours in Hanoi, we offer free pick-up and drop-off for hotels located within the Old Quarter. If you stay outside this area, we will provide a central meeting point (usually the Opera House) or arrange a private transfer for a small surcharge.

7. Should I bring USD or VND (Vietnamese Dong)?

VND is the official currency and is best for small purchases (street food, taxis, souvenirs). USD is widely accepted for larger payments like hotels or tour balances. We recommend exchanging some money at the airport or gold shops for better rates.

8. Can I buy a SIM card in Vietnam?

Yes. You can easily buy a SIM card (Viettel or Vinaphone) at the airport upon arrival or at any convenience store in the city. 4G/5G coverage in Vietnam is excellent, even in mountainous areas like Sapa.

ON THE TOUR

9. I have dietary restrictions (Vegetarian/Vegan/Halal/Allergies). Can you accommodate?

Absolutely. Vietnamese cuisine is very flexible. Please inform us of your specific dietary requirements at the time of booking, and we will arrange suitable meals for you on the tour/cruise.

10. What is the difference between Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay?

Geologically, they are identical. Halong Bay is more famous and iconic but can be crowded. Lan Ha Bay is a quieter, cleaner alternative with fewer tourist boats. If you prefer relaxation and swimming, choose Lan Ha. If you want to see the famous caves, choose Halong.

11. Is tipping mandatory in Vietnam?

Tipping is not mandatory but highly appreciated. If you are happy with the service, a tip for the guide and for the driver is a standard gesture of gratitude.

12. What should I pack for trips to Sapa or Northern Mountains?

The weather in the mountains can be unpredictable. We recommend bringing comfortable trekking shoes, a rain poncho, sun protection, and a light jacket, even in summer, as evenings can get chilly.
