Meet your local guide at Don Village, the starting point of your Pu Luong trekking day. Begin a 5 km hike through lush rice terraces and peaceful trails connecting Quan and Uoi Hamlets. Along the way, enjoy the tranquil sounds of the countryside – children playing, water buffalo grazing, and endless green valleys stretching beyond the horizon.

10:30 AM – Lan Village & Weaving Heritage
Arrive at Lan Village, where the Thai ethnic people preserve their ancient weaving craft. Visit a traditional stilt house and observe artisans creating handwoven brocades using natural dyes and wooden looms. Continue trekking another 3 km deeper into Lan, where time seems to slow down amid the untouched beauty of the jungle and rice terraces.

11:30 AM – Long Village & Co Lung Duck Farm
Continue your journey along forest paths leading to Long Village, home to the famous Co Lung duck farms. Learn how these ducks are raised in natural streams and fields, recognized with Geographical Indication protection by Vietnam’s IP Office. Gain insight into sustainable farming methods that support the local economy and environment.

12:30 PM – Lunch at Hieu Waterfall
Transfer by car or bicycle for 6 km to Hieu Village, home to the most spectacular waterfall in Pu Luong. Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a peaceful riverside restaurant near the falls. The soothing sound of cascading water and cool mountain breeze make this a perfect midday break.

Afternoon – Relax and Explore Hieu Waterfall
After lunch, take a refreshing swim in the natural pools beneath Hieu Waterfall – one of Pu Luong’s most photographed attractions. Continue with a light trek upstream to explore upper Hieu Village, where bamboo water wheels and wooden bridges capture the rural charm of northern Vietnam.
