Your local guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Tam Coc and take you to the fishing area.
First, your guide will introduce you to Nom, a traditional fishing tool commonly used by Vietnamese farmers in rural areas. You will learn about how it works and how local people use it to catch fish in rice fields, ponds, lagoons, and wetlands.
After the introduction, you will have the opportunity to practice using Nom yourself. Under the guidance of your local instructor, try your hand at catching fish while experiencing the traditional way of fishing used by local communities.
The experience is not only about fishing. During the activity, your guide will share stories about the daily life, traditions, and culture of Vietnamese farmers, giving you a closer look at rural life in Vietnam.
After approximately 1.5 hours, the fishing experience comes to an end and you will return to your accommodation in Tam Coc.
