Embark on a cultural journey beyond Hanoi to explore Duong Lam Ancient Village, often referred to as a living museum with its thousand-year-old houses, communal halls, and ancient temples. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch in a local home before continuing to one of several cultural extensions in the afternoon.
Time Travel: Walk through narrow alleys flanked by unique laterite brick (đá ong) walls – the iconic red stone of the region that keeps houses cool in summer.
Living History: Visit a local family still living in a 300-year-old house, chat with the owners, and taste their homemade rice wine and “Che Lam” cake.
Authentic Dining: Enjoy a rustic, home-cooked lunch served right inside an ancient wooden house, not a tourist restaurant.
Choose Your Adventure: Tailor your afternoon. Pick Thay Pagoda for folklore and scenery, Tay Phuong for masterpiece sculptures and hiking, or Van Phuc for premium silk shopping.

Choose one of the following experiences:
Thay Pagoda – Also known as Master Pagoda, located between Da Phuc and Thuy Khue villages. Surrounded by natural scenery resembling a fairyland, the pagoda is closely associated with Monk Tu Dao Hanh, famed for teaching, healing, and founding traditional wrestling and water puppetry. With its peaceful atmosphere, cultural significance, and mountain setting in Sai Son, Thay Pagoda offers a truly memorable experience.
Tay Phuong Pagoda – One of Vietnam’s most remarkable pagodas, celebrated for its ancient architecture and an exceptional collection of wooden Buddhist statues. Nestled on a peaceful hill, it offers both spiritual charm and scenic views.
Van Phuc Silk Village – Step into Vietnam’s centuries-old silk-weaving tradition, where artisans craft the country’s finest silk by hand. Stroll through local workshops and enjoy shopping for unique, high-quality silk products.

Return to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel.
