06:30: Tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City center to begin the full-day tour.
Travel by air-conditioned minivan to Cu Chi Tunnels. During the journey, the guide will introduce the historical background of the Vietnam War and the strategic importance of the tunnel system.
Upon arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels, watch a short documentary film explaining the construction and significance of the underground network.
Explore the elaborate labyrinth of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong. Visit subterranean field hospitals, weapon factories, living quarters, kitchens, and command centers. Learn how soldiers survived in extremely difficult wartime conditions.
Guests may try crawling through selected tunnel sections that have been widened for visitors to experience what life was like underground.
Optional activity: Try shooting historical firearms at the shooting range (at personal expense).
After completing the Cu Chi exploration, depart for Tay Ninh Province.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Following lunch, guests will choose one of the two following options.
Option 1 ( Cao Dai Temple )
Visit Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, the spiritual center of Caodaism.
Learn about this unique Vietnamese religion which combines elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism. The religion worships the symbolic “Left Eye of God,” representing the Eye of Heaven.
Explore the colorful temple architecture featuring vibrant pillars, dragon motifs, and religious symbolism.
Attend the noon ceremony conducted by Cao Dai followers. Observe the ritual prayers and traditional white-robed worshippers, offering a fascinating cultural and spiritual experience.
After the visit, depart for Ho Chi Minh City.
Option 2: Ba Den Temple
Proceed to Ba Den Mountain, the highest peak in Southern Vietnam.
Upon arrival, take a scenic cable car ride operated by SunWorld (cable car ticket at personal expense) to reach the summit.
At the top, admire the impressive bronze Buddha statue, known as one of the tallest bronze Buddha statues in Asia. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of rice fields, countryside landscapes, and even views stretching toward the Cambodian border on clear days.
After sightseeing and photo opportunities, descend by cable car and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon or early evening. Drop-off at your hotel in District 1.
