07:30 – 08:00 Our tour guide picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi. Depart by private car for Ba Be National Park, a scenic 5-hour drive through northern Vietnam. Lunch will be served en route.

Upon arrival at Boc Lom Pier, you receive a full safety briefing and kayaking instructions. Equipped with dry bags, life jackets, and sports gear, begin your kayaking journey along the Nang River.

Travel by kayak and boat to explore the magnificent Puong Cave, famous for its towering limestone formations and underground river. Continue through dramatic landscapes with steep cliffs and “cat-ear” limestone formations.

Visit iconic sites on Ba Be Lake, including Widow Island and Cam Village. Return by motorboat, with time for swimming in the lake.

Check in at Ba Be Jungle Houses. In the evening, enjoy a BBQ dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

After breakfast, transfer to Mr Linh Adventures – Ba Be Office (Nam Mau) for a briefing and final preparation.

A 30-minute drive brings you to the starting point of Tham Phay Cave. Begin a challenging hike with a steep uphill trail through dense forest, rocky terrain, and open valleys. Your guide and safety team assist you through tricky sections and route finding.

After a short snack break, enter Tham Phay Cave, one of the most mysterious cave systems in Ba Be. Spend approximately 5 hours exploring this 5 km underground river cave, which remains largely undiscovered by geologists.

Inside, witness breathtaking cave features such as massive ceiling domes, layered rock walls, ancient stalagmites, deep sinkholes, and underground heat flows. The cave widens dramatically beyond the entrance, offering excellent photography opportunities.

After completing the second cave path, return to the entrance and head back to the original pick-up point.

After breakfast, enjoy a slow morning at Ba Be Lake. Relax in the fresh air, read a book, journal, or take a refreshing swim in the pool at Ba Be Jungle Houses. Absorb the calm atmosphere and disconnect from daily life.

Optional Trekking Tour:
For those seeking more adventure, join a guided trek starting from Bo Lu Village. Walk through Ba Be jungle trails while learning about local wildlife, plants, and ecosystems. Hike to Tham Khit Cave, enjoy panoramic views near the ranger station’s observation huts, and continue 2 km to An Ma Temple, a sacred Tay temple dedicated to mountain and lake gods.

Enjoy lunch before returning to Hanoi.
