06h00 – 06h30: Driver picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Depart for Sapa via the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway. Along the journey, admire the Northwest mountain landscapes, terraced fields, and morning mist. Stop halfway for a 20 minute rest.

13h00 – 13h30: Arrive in Sapa. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant in the hotel. Leave your luggage at the hotel lobby; bring only a small bag for trekking.

14h00 – 14h30: Begin trekking about 6 km along Muong Hoa Valley slopes to Y Linh Ho (Black H’mong village). Continue another 3 km to Lao Chai village of the H’mong people. Walk through a small tunnel or cross a small bridge that leads into Muong Hoa Valley. Experience the beauty of streams, rice terraces, and traditional H’mong houses.
